These Agent Trust Hub Service-Specific Terms (“Agent Trust Hub Terms”) supplement the Gen Digital License and Services Agreement (“LSA”). The LSA applies to your use of Agent Trust Hub except to the extent these Agent Trust Hub Terms modify or supersede it. In the event of a conflict, these Agent Trust Hub Terms control with respect to Agent Trust Hub.
By using Agent Trust Hub, you agree to these Agent Trust Hub Terms, the LSA, and the applicable Privacy Notice.
Eligibility and User Authorization
You must be at least 18 years old to use Agent Trust Hub (the “Service”).
You are responsible for ensuring that you have all necessary rights, permissions, and legal authority to submit an email address, username, app link, or policy link, and to connect any account (including Gmail), in connection with your use of Agent Trust Hub.
You may use Agent Trust Hub to look up or submit information relating to another person only if you are that person’s parent or legal guardian (in the case of a minor child), or you otherwise have lawful authority and, where required, that person’s consent to do so.
You are solely responsible for ensuring that your use of Agent Trust Hub complies with applicable laws, court orders, and agreements.
Description of Agent Trust Hub
Agent Trust Hub is an AI-assisted tool designed to help you understand how apps and AI assistants collect, use, share, and retain data. It reads privacy policies and terms of service that you submit or that we retrieve, and can optionally check public account signals associated with an email address or username you provide, or metadata from a Gmail account you choose to connect, to surface accounts that may be associated with you.
The Service may generate ratings, plain-language explanations, source quotes, and suggested controls. Agent Trust Hub operates based on the documents and account signals available to it, which may be incomplete, unavailable, or out of date at any given time. Gen does not control and does not guarantee the availability, accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any third-party policy, document, or account signal analyzed or referenced by the Service.
Agent Trust Hub does not verify that any app’s actual data practices match its published policy, and has no authority to act on your behalf. It does not contact any third party, change any account or privacy setting, or submit an opt-out or deletion request on your behalf. Any suggested controls are informational only and must be independently carried out by you. Features described as recording interest in a future capability (such as automated opt-out or deletion) do not perform that capability today.
Acceptable Use and Restrictions
In addition to the restrictions in the LSA, you agree that you will not:
- Use Agent Trust Hub to look up, submit, or process an email address, username, account, or other data that you do not have the legal right or authorization to access;
- Use Agent Trust Hub in a manner that violates the terms of any third-party service you connect, including Google;
- Use Agent Trust Hub to process or act on information in violation of applicable privacy, data protection, or communications laws;
- Use Agent Trust Hub to harm, harass, or violate the rights of any individual, or to surveil, impersonate, or monitor any person without lawful authority or any required consent;
- Use automated means to scrape Agent Trust Hub, submit bulk or automated queries beyond ordinary individual use, or attempt to reverse-engineer or manipulate the rating methodology to evade or misrepresent it.
You are solely responsible for your use of Agent Trust Hub and for compliance with all applicable laws.
Agent Trust Hub relies on third-party artificial intelligence service providers to analyze policy text and generate reports. Your use of Agent Trust Hub must also comply with any applicable third-party acceptable use requirements that govern those services, as may be updated from time to time. For example, certain AI features may be subject to the acceptable use policies of our AI service providers (such as xAI), available here. We may restrict or suspend access to the Service if we believe your use could violate those requirements or otherwise create legal, safety, security, or abuse risk.
You represent and warrant that you have all necessary rights, permissions, and consents to submit any information and to connect any account made available through the Service, including where that information relates to another person.
Artificial Intelligence Features
Agent Trust Hub uses artificial intelligence to read policy documents, generate ratings and explanations, and identify supporting quotes.
You acknowledge that:
- AI outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated (including a rating, quote, or finding that does not reflect the current version of a policy);
- AI outputs may contain false positives or false negatives (including understating or overstating a privacy risk);
- AI-generated summaries and quotes may contain errors and require your review;
- AI outputs are not legal, financial, or other professional advice of any kind;
- AI outputs may not be timely or reflect the most current published policy or account status.
Agent Trust Hub does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, timeliness, or suitability of any AI-generated rating, explanation, quote, or suggested control. You are solely responsible for reviewing any report and independently confirming its contents before relying on it.
Agent Trust Hub is not a system of record. The app or company’s own published privacy policy or terms of service is the authoritative source. A missing report, an “unknown” result, or the absence of a finding is not evidence that no account exists or that a service handles data in any particular way. You agree that you will not rely on Agent Trust Hub as a sole or primary source of truth for any decision, including decisions about which apps to use, which accounts to close, or how to respond to a suspected privacy or security incident.
Gen has no obligation to ensure that Agent Trust Hub covers, identifies, or rates any particular app, account, or service, and does not guarantee that its coverage is exhaustive. The Service is not designed for active fraud, identity-theft, or other emergency or time-sensitive situations; if you suspect your accounts have been compromised, contact the relevant provider or use dedicated support channels rather than relying on Agent Trust Hub.
Beta Features (Unlisted Preview)
Agent Trust Hub is currently offered as an unlisted preview feature. It and its individual features:
- May be incomplete or unstable;
- May change, be limited, or be discontinued at any time, including rating criteria, coverage, and specific reports;
- May have reduced reliability or accuracy, and may produce more frequent errors, omissions, or inconsistent results than a generally available product.
Use of Agent Trust Hub during this preview period is at your own risk. It is provided “as is” without any warranties or guarantees of performance.
Connecting Your Google Account
Agent Trust Hub’s optional Gmail account-discovery feature is subject to Google’s own consent process and terms. Connecting Gmail is optional; you are not required to connect it to use Agent Trust Hub. You may disconnect Agent Trust Hub’s access to your Google account at any time using the in-product control or through your Google account settings. We are not responsible for Google’s handling of your data or for any interruption in access caused by Google.
Privacy
Use of Agent Trust Hub is subject to the applicable Privacy Notice, which describes how personal data is collected and used.
You represent that you have all necessary rights and permissions to authorize the processing of any personal information you make available through the Service, including information relating to another person where applicable. You are solely responsible for ensuring that your submission and use of personal information in connection with the Service complies with applicable privacy and data protection laws. You should not submit an email address, username, or connect any account through the Service if you are not authorized to permit that processing.
